This week's challenge is to raise awareness for the Moebius Syndrome.
Moebius Syndrome is a congenital nerve disorder which affects 1-2 in 1,000,000 people.
Yes! Even I did not know about it till today! Diva's younger son Artoo was diagnosed with Moebius Syndrome when he was born.
This Sunday, January 24, is Moebius Syndrome Awareness Day.
So the Diva asked us to use the Moebius Syndrome Foundation's logo as our string, or create a Moebius strip out of paper and tangle that...
I chose to use the logo. I have tangled around the logo rather than use it as a string.
My obvious choice of tangle pattern was Diva Dance. The Diva's strength as a mother is just so amazing!! I wanted to do this tile as a tribute to her.
The colour for MSAD is Purple. I have used my Staedtler purple fine liner
Here's my tile.
You can view the other entries for the challenge on Diva's blog
It looks as if the symbol is rising up through the patterned border, very symbolic!
ReplyDeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely tile! Very nicely done!
ReplyDeleteA great sentiment drawn into the tile by using the Tangle created for the Diva herself
ReplyDeleteSuch a good idea to use Diva Dance!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. Nice choice to use Diva Dance!
ReplyDeleteI really like the way you have done the Moebius logo. And the Diva Dance surrounding it is a touch of genius! The Diva surrounding her little Moebius guy...at least that is what the symbolism says to me. Great work!
